When Should You Report Animal Abuse?

We know it's a sad topic, but we want to inform y'all of the signs, so you can do your part and prevent further animal abuse. Check out and save the infographic below!

Did you know that only a fraction of the animal cruelty acts that occur are reported or successfully prosecuted, despite the fact that 49 states have laws in place to provide felony penalties for animal torture on the first offense.

April is National Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. If you see an animal in life-threatening conditions, please call the Houston SPCA Animal Cruelty Emergency Hotline at (713) 869-7722. If an animal's life is not in immediate danger, visit houstonspca.org to fill out a cruelty report form.
