At Home Euthanasia

Feb 16 • 1 minute read

The decision to end your pet’s suffering is the most difficult decision a pet owner will ever have to make. It’s heartbreaking, it’s sad and it can often cause feelings of guilt. When it’s time to say goodbye to the animal members of your family, you want it to be as peaceful as possible.

And we understand.

At Rollin’ Vets, at home euthanasia is the hardest part of our job, but it’s also the service that we feel the most honored to be able to provide. We prioritize the comfort of the animal, ensuring the process is painless and peaceful. The procedure is performed in the comfort of the patient’s home and in familiar surroundings, lessening the stress on the animal. Our doctors and techs take the utmost care of the animal throughout the entire process, alleviating as much anxiety from the pet and owner as possible.

To memorialize our patients in the most beautiful and thoughtful way we can, Rollin’ Vets makes a quarterly donation to One Tree Planted for every patient we lose. While we wish our pets could live forever and this service wasn’t necessary, we are privileged to be a part of such an important time in our clients’ lives.
