the cavalier

Self-described as New Orleans-meets-East Austin dive bar and scratch kitchen, The Cavalier has one of the most original dog-loyalty programs we’ve ever seen. Their Puppy Payroll Program goes like this – write your dog’s name and your IG handle on a punch card. Each time you go, the bartender punches your card, and repeated visits earn freebies like snacks, cocktails or beer. The program starts over each month, and there’s even a photo mounted behind the bar for the dog that showed up the most the previous month.
